Just joined the group--looking forward to hearing about everyone's professional/artistic endeavors. Right now, art is not my "real life" employment, but it's one of the roles I'm juggling. Someday.....Favorite media: printmaking, letterpress, fibers.
Just got your latest e-mail with a link to your SWOM page. Decided that to learn about it, I might as well join it. I thought I would just join your page, but couldn't figure out how without making a page of my own. (Already I'd like to fix a couple things in my profile.) Anyway - hello! I'll talk to you later this week.
Hi! Thanks for turning me on to this site & the opportunity to grow here! Pricing my Art is a pretty big issue! Very frustrating! I've been an Artist all my life, but since I haven't shown much & don't have a huge list of awards - I get told by a lot of my friends, etc. that my prices are "too high",which I don't choose to believe! I'm dedicating myself to really promoting my work & experiencing success & abunDANCE (which is how I'm spelling it lately - because that's how I see it! :-D Plus, it's FUN!). I intend to develop "Manna Feast Station" as opposed to further experience the stigma of "starving Artist"! I DO & will ALWAYS spell Artist with a capital "A",since I feel anything less is decorative technician!
hi Aletta, okay, lets put this to the group. There are probably people there with experience using both. thanks, georgia
ps. hope you are all recovered now!
thanks! Quite honestly, I was a little bored with photography... saw the pinhole camera in Chicago... had a dream a few months later about the pinhole camera and then bought one! I've been doing pinhole photography ever since. I love it so much!
