June Cleaver and Harriet Nelson – you know, those “typical” stay-at-home moms that (according to their husbands) sat around and gossiped over tea all day? Did you ever, in your wildest dreams consider them marketing pioneers?

I know for a fact that you do not want to give a well connected mom a bad coffee. Seems like negative news moves at warp speed in that group. Took me a year to get past a new persons mistake.

Exactly - with a seemingly constant stream of communication, the news (good or bad) tends to get through the ranks pretty fast. With that, if you give them a brand to talk about, you'd better make sure that the talk is positive.
